Languages

Told lets you present your survey in various languages. In the survey editor, you can select the languages in which you'd like your survey to appear.

When a respondent views your survey, Told will detect their browser language and display the survey in the corresponding language if it matches one you've set.

If none of the available languages match the respondent's browser language, the survey will default to the default language you've specified.

example:

Suppose my survey offers three languages: English, Spanish, and French, with English set as the default language.

  • If a respondent with a Spanish browser views the survey, it will be displayed in Spanish.
  • If a respondent with an Italian browser views the survey, it will default to displaying in English.

Overwrite presets

As mentioned earlier, the survey language is typically determined based on the respondent's browser settings. However, you have the option to manually select the desired language to display.

Within the various guidelines (web - IOS - ANDROID - link), you'll discover a section providing further explanation on how to accomplish this.
