Zapier Integration

Zapier connects Told to over 5,000 apps, letting you automate workflows without coding.

Setup guide​

Step 1: Create a Zapier Zap​

  1. Create a Zapier account if you don't have one
  2. Click Create Zap
  3. For the trigger, search for Webhooks by Zapier
  4. Select Catch Hook as the event
  5. Zapier provides a webhook URL — copy it

Step 2: Configure the webhook in Told​

  1. Open your survey in Told
  2. Go to Connection → Webhook
  3. Click Add a webhook
  4. Paste the Zapier webhook URL
  5. Select the event (e.g., "Answer survey")
  6. Save

Step 3: Test and configure​

  1. Trigger the webhook by completing a survey
  2. In Zapier, click Test trigger to see the received data
  3. Add an Action step — choose any of Zapier's 5,000+ connected apps
  4. Map the survey data fields to your action
  5. Turn on the Zap
  • Google Sheets — Log all survey responses to a spreadsheet
  • Slack — Post new responses to a channel
  • Gmail — Send a thank-you email to respondents
  • Trello/Asana — Create tasks from feedback
  • Airtable — Build a feedback database
