Surveys
Surveys are the core of Told. They let you collect feedback from your users through targeted questionnaires that can be displayed in-app, shared via link, or sent by email.
Survey types
Told supports three distribution methods for surveys:
| Type | How it works | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| In-app survey | Displayed inside your website or app via the SDK, triggered by user behavior | Contextual feedback at the right moment |
| Link survey | Shared via a unique URL, QR code, or embedded in a webpage | Broad distribution, social media, external users |
| Email survey | Embedded directly in an email | Post-purchase feedback, support follow-ups |
All three types share the same editor — you choose the distribution method when creating the survey.
