Results

The Results tab gives you analytics on how users interact with your product tour. You'll find it as the third top-level tab in the product tour editor (after Content and Publish).

Layout

The Results page has three areas:

  • Header — report name dropdown, date range selector, filter, and share button
  • Sidebar (left) — quick navigation to each analytics section
  • Main area — the analytics cards, stacked vertically

Report selector

In the top-left, a dropdown shows the current report name (default: "Global report"). Click it to:

  • Create a new report — add a separate report with its own filters
  • Switch between existing reports

A three-dot menu (···) next to the dropdown provides additional report management options.

Filters

In the top-right, two controls let you filter the data:

ControlDescription
Date rangeShows the current time window (e.g., "Week to date"). Click to change the period.
FilterOpens a filter panel with Date and Week to date tabs, a + New filter group button to add custom filters, and a Clear filters link to reset.

Analytics sections

The report contains five sections, each accessible via the left sidebar:

Conversion funnel

A three-stage funnel showing how users progress through the tour:

StageDescription

EndedNumber of users who completed the tour (participants)

Each stage shows a percentage and an absolute count. The bars visually represent the drop-off between stages.

Devices

A breakdown of which devices users used to view the tour:

DeviceDescription

Each device type shows a percentage with an icon.

Conversion by time

A line chart showing tour interactions over time. Three series can be toggled:

  • Opened — when users saw the tour
  • Started — when users began interacting
  • Ended — when users completed the tour

The x-axis shows dates, and the y-axis shows the count.

Dropout

A table showing where users drop off in the tour:

ColumnDescription
QuestionsThe step content (title) where dropout occurred
ResponsesNumber of users who dropped off at this step
%Percentage of total dropouts

Languages

A table showing the language distribution of tour viewers:

ColumnDescription

Share

Click the Share button in the top-right header to open the share modal.

The modal contains:

  • A banner: "Share your results with anyone. Your public report automatically updates as new answers come in."
  • Public reports toggle (off by default) — "Anyone can access the reports without logging in, via the link."

When enabled, a public link is generated that anyone can access without a Told account. The report updates automatically as new data comes in.
